Softwood Kindling Nets
Getting a fire going quickly comes down to good kindling, and softwood is what does the job — it catches almost instantly and burns hot enough to light your main logs without a struggle. Whether you're starting a wood burning stove, an open fire, or a firepit, a net of this kindling takes the frustration out of lighting up.
How to use it — the Top Down method
Rather than building a small kindling fire and adding logs later, try stacking it in reverse: larger logs at the bottom, kindling and a firelighter on top. Light the top, and the fire burns downward, catching each layer as it goes — less fiddling, less smoke, and a fire that gets going with barely any attention.
Pair with a couple of natural firelighters for the easiest possible start.
