Kiln Dried Oak Firewood – Barrow Bags

The barrow bag is our most popular size for a reason — enough oak to keep a stove going through a proper cold spell, without committing to a full bulk bag before you know how fast you'll get through it. Dense, slow-burning and kiln dried, oak gives you a long, steady heat with a deep bed of embers rather than a quick, bright burn.

Each barrow bag holds 0.225m³ (50cm x 50cm x 90cm) of split oak logs, moisture tested at our Paisley yard to 10-20% — dry enough to light easily and burn hot with minimal smoke.

How much do I need?

• One barrow bag: roughly equivalent to 2-3 of our firewood nets — a good couple of weeks of regular evening stove use
• Burning most nights through winter? Our bulk bag works out cheaper per m³ and means fewer reorders
• Just need a top-up? Try a net instead
