Kiln Dried Birch Firewood – Crates

Our crate is our biggest single delivery of birch firewood — fast-lighting, bright-burning silver birch, kiln dried and moisture tested at our Paisley yard to 10–20%.

Available in two sizes, both with the same footprint — the Large is simply double the height of the Small, so you can size up without the crate taking up any more floor space:

• Small (111cm W x 78cm D x 92.5cm H) — ideal for occasional fires, or as a smart-looking store by the hearth.
• Large (111cm W x 78cm D x 185cm H) — double the wood in the same footprint, for regular use through the season.

Same premium single-species birch as the rest of our range — quick to catch, with an attractive bright flame and excellent heat output.

Birch or oak?

Birch lights faster and burns brighter — great for getting a fire going or shorter firepit sessions. Oak is denser and burns longer, better for a stove kept in for hours.

Prefer a bag over a crate? Try our barrow bag or bulk bag instead.
