West Coast Firewood is a family business, owned and managed by Paul and Kelly Anne. We cut, kiln dry and deliver firewood from our own yard on McFarlane Street in Paisley.

Everything we sell is kiln dried at the yard to between 10 and 20% moisture, and metered before it leaves. That is what Ready to Burn certification means in practice: wood that lights easily, burns clean and does not hiss and smoke in the grate. Our certificate is held as The Grass Yard, ID WS6619.

We deliver up to 30 miles from the yard, Monday to Friday, in our own van. Charges are based on distance and order value, and delivery is free on orders of £110 or more within 20 miles. No couriers and no pallets left on the pavement. If you are not in, the wood goes where you asked us to leave it and we send you a photo of the drop.

Two woods, four sizes. Oak burns long and steady, the overnight log. Birch takes quickly and burns bright, the one for getting a cold room warm. Most people end up buying both.
